"આપણી આજની અવઢવ"

હરિ તારા નામ છે હજાર,

- કયે નામે લખવી કંકોતરી?

હવે, આ અવઢવ કે અગવડ,

નથી રહી, આ યંત્ર મહિમાના યુગમાં,

નામ હજાર હોય કે કરોડ, બહુ ફેર નથી પડતો,

અમારી, આપણી આજની અવઢવ છે,

- કયે બહાને લખવી કંકોતરી?

કંકોતરી એટલે?

-ઉમળકાના આમંત્રણ,

હવે એ ઉમળકા ને સ્થાને છે, ઉચાટ,

'ને ઉચાટના આમંત્રણ ન હોય.............
